Since September 2017, Ms. Katie “‘Vizor_D” Dickerson has been the co-advisor of Focus, a role in which she proofreads articles, encourages student-journalists, and provides advice and guidance on various undertakings of the publication. Ms. Dickerson holds a Bachelor's Degree in English from Arcadia University, as well as a Master's Degree in English from Temple. Aside from her responsibilities with Focus, Ms. Dickerson teaches English and homeroom at Friends' Central, and is a swimming instructor for young children at the Aquatic and Fitness center in Bala Cynwyd. Also "fluent-ish" is Spanish, ‘Vizor_D enjoys kickboxing and frequenting the Jersey Shore, which is not far from her hometown of Brick, NJ.
