Quiz Bowl Club

By Evie Watkins ‘26 (Reporter)

Are you looking for a trivia challenge? Well, look no further, and come to Quiz Bowl Club! Founded by Max Davis ‘27, Quiz Bowl Club is one of the newest clubs on campus. It was established in the spring of last school year and began meeting on Tuesday club blocks at the start of this school year. Under additional club leaders Jonah Casel ‘27, Noah Liebman ‘27, and Connor McManus ‘27, along with faculty advisor Mr. Klein, the club has been growing and aspiring to compete against other schools in the spring. Not only do members partake in engaging trivia games, but the leaders prepare Jeopardy-formatted sample questions that are presented at every meeting. These are taken from the previous Quiz Bowl competitions in order to best prepare for competitions. “It’s slightly competitive, but our main goals are for everyone to have fun and improve at answering Quiz Bowl questions,” shared Connor McManus. It took some time to get the club going, but the leaders have been building momentum as they prepare for their competitions. Jonah explained, “Our main goal is to be able to be prepared enough to be able to go to Quiz Bowl competitions in the spring, and hopefully do well in them.” With a combination of dedication, competitiveness,  and fun, Quiz Bowl Club is a great way for students to test and grow their knowledge of a multitude of different topics.
